If you like to draw and want to try something creative and uplifting, might I suggest you start practicing hand lettering. When you first start out, it might not be very good, but as you develop your skills, you will find the style that fits and then you can write just about any word – and make lift your spirts or make yourself laugh or just take a break from the busy day.
Sometimes I hand letter directly into my sketchbook, other times I carve it out on a piece of Speedball Speedy Carve- and make some linocut prints. And every so often you might find my hand lettering on our large collaborative floor paintings that kids work on with me at Little Pulp.

Here are a few images showing my hand lettering on different mediums.
