I have a lot of Daily Doodle Books. This particular morning, I woke up and before I made my espresso, I opened up my daily doodle book and doodled this composition of shapes. I called it Coffee Bean Composition.
Some days I spend hours on one doodle, somedays I rough out something so quick that I am not even sure it’s going to be anything. This particular morning, my eyes were not even completely open when I blocked out this composition – which i think came out quite nicely, so much so that I tried to make an overhead video – here’s me standing on my table, testing the camera angle.
I plan on working on this sketch a bit more as time goes by. Go draw something quick and don’t worry about how it will look – ya’ never know, it might be something worth revisiting at a later date. Good luck!
