Once in a while, I ask the kids (at our workshop) if they want to draw something in My Daily Doodle Book. Today, we had a slime-making workshop and I did just that.
About 10 minutes later, a few of the kids that attended the workshop asked to purchase their own ‘My Daily Doodle Book’. Mathias was one of the kids that purchased his own book. Before he left the shop - I noticed that someone drew in my book. It was a tree with ‘be kind’ drawn in the tree trunk - in bubble letters.
“Who drew this?”, I asked. Mathias said “I did!”. Oh, and there were these little hearts drawn into the leaves of the tree - so awesome!!!
So, given that it is Saturday and I ran two events today and have two more tomorrow - followed by class trips all week long - I decided to color in Mathias’ tree and recreate his bubble lettered ‘be kind’ as best I could.
I hope the kids that purchased their own My Daily Doodle Books will send me pics of their covers - and things that they are drawing. My hope is to start collecting pics of everyone’s Daily Doodle books and share them on this blog. It’s going to help me a lot - especially on days when I am really tired and don’t doodle all that much.
