When I was in high-school, I bought my very own drafting table with the money I earned working in an old-fashioned ice-cream shop in my hometown. I still have that drafting table - it’s currently at Little Pulp. My paper porcupine (her name is ‘Copper’) - she lives on that table.
For some reason, kids and people love drafting tables - has something to do with angling it up and down, I guess. Today, I could not think of something to draw - I asked Kevin and Mike to give me ideas - Kevin said: “Draw a rhino, with a beard, playing a banjo”. I thought about it - as I drove to pick up the kids and said yes to the rhino - but for some reason, I could not figure her playing a banjo - so instead I opted to have her about to make a drawing on her very own drafting table.
Yes, I doodled a rhino sitting on a stool getting ready to draw on her very own drafting table. It was as fun to draw as it sounds to say!
