Today, I had no idea what to doodle. When I woke up this morning, I could not believe it was already the 20th of March - so I grabbed a pencil and sketched out a ginormous 20 on one page. I tried to come up with something to doodle about the number 20 but nothing was coming to me.
So, there sat the pencil sketch of the big 20 for most of the day. I cooked dinner for the family today - usually Monday I prepare a big dinner. Next thing I know, Lochlan is sleeping and Luke is saying good night - ‘oh no, I have to do my Daily Doodle’.
I grabbed about 10-20 ink pens and some colored pencils and drew two eye balls- that was all I did. Then I got up, walked around a bit. When I sat back down, i just started sketching some light pencil lines around the eye balls. Was I going to draw an animal or a person? Next thing I know, I am drawing a chef hat and some simple lines and it starts looking like a character from The Simpsons.
I did not have the strength or energy to draw cooking utensils, so I just sketched out an apple and made him thinking about baking an apple pie or something like that.
