Today was a busy day at the shop with two birthday parties for two very cool kids - Miko and Eva.
I have known Miko since before she was born and we celebrated her 8th birthday today - and four years ago, we celebrated Eva’s third birthday - and today we celebrated her 7th - crazy!!!
Miko asked me to draw a Hangry Hippo - apparently, she has a stuffed animal hippo and she named it ‘The Hangry Hippo’. So, when I sat down to doodle in My Daily Doodle Book, I thought to draw a hippo with a fork. As I sketched him out, I was not loving the neck - so I thought to give him a bib and the first thing I thought of was a lobster bib - so there you have it - a hangry hippo starting to smile cuz’ he’s about to eat a nice lobster dinner. I hope he likes lobster - and I hope Miko likes this drawing and I hope Miko and Eva both had a memorable birthday party today at the shop!
