When your site goes down - you still Doodle

When your site goes down - you still Doodle

Today was hectic enough being the first day back at school after a nice long week off - but then emails, text messages and Instagram mssgs started coming in that our site was down - oh boy!

I transferred our domain to a new registrar (long story - won’t bore you) but when I went to sleep late last night -I was assured by the ‘transfer-people’ that it would be seamless and it wasn’t. So, hours of online chats, finding old passwords/creating new passwords - and hoping for the best - I got on a chat with a super nice person that effortlessly helped me through my ordeal and turned my sour mood around within minutes. So, here I am at my desk - finally getting the issue resolved and I grabbed My Daily Doodle Book and put this page together. Is it a habit forming that I will be able to stick with - I really hope so - because doodling relaxes me and today, I needed to relax.

Oh, and Mike made this super cool sketch of the blue jay birds that hang around outside his window. When we started talking about this whole Daily Doodle idea, we did not have a clear idea how it would materialize, for us - and it seems that we’re using it as a (sort of) journal of sorts. We both wonder how and/or if we will change our formats as we go. I am sure I will - ha!
